What is a dry cell ?
Dry cell is a cell in which the electrolyte is present in the form of paste so that it doesn’t spill and hence can be portable and compact in size.
Advantages of dry cell:
- The electrolyte is in gel form and compact form so there is no spillage.
- Produces nearly constant voltage across the terminal for a long time.
- This cell is small in size and comes in many portable forms.
