b. These paintings represent a tribute to religious tolerance.

c. They basically depict episodes from the life of Buddha while some of them also portray Jataka tales.

d. These paintings are probably done by covering rough surface of the wall with a layer of clay.

e. They date back from the late Gupta period to the chalukya period.
