what is an integer ?

We know that the counting numbers 1, 2, 3 ……… If we put “–” sign before these counting numbers, then they will become negative counting numbers as –1, –2, –3 …. The numbers which include the positive counting numbers, the negative counting numbers, and 0 are called integers. Thus, the numbers such as …–3, –2, –1, 0, 1, 2, 3… are called integers.
