 chiengora is a yarn or wool spun from dog hair.It is 80% warmer than wool and is not elastic. it is called dog hair because chien is the meaning of dog in chinese and gora is taken from angora.

Chiengora is dog yarn, spun from clean winter undercoat fluff and made into wearables. It is much warmer than wool yet is breatheable.

The name comes from the "chien," French for dog, and "angora" rabbit. Finished Chiengora knitwear looks and feels much like Angora rabbit.

Chiengora yarnmaking is 100% Humane. I use only the brushed-out undercoat, and no harm is ever done to any pet.
