what is convenience sampling method?

Convenience sampling method:- As the name suggests, this method of sampling completely relies on the convenience of the investigators. In this method, the sample is selected as per the convenience of the investigator. For Example, to collect data on the income-earning capacity of the poor people, the investigator may conduct his research at a place that is needed to his residence.
Merits:-
Simple and easy to use.
The sample can be obtained very quickly.
Demerits:-
Biased by the investigator.
Not completely reliable.
