What is difference between renewable and non-exhaustible resources and non-renewable and exhaustible resources?
Renewable resources are those natural resources that can be replenished through naturally occurring processes These include resources such as air, light, water, solar energy, plants, animals, microbes etc. They are available in unlimited amount and can be used again and again. These are formed/replenished at much faster rate.
These resources are also called inexhaustible resources.
Non- renewable are those natural resources that take thousands of years for their formation. They cannot be used again and again. These are not formed at the rate at which they are consumed. For example: Fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum
These resources are also called exhaustible resources.
