What is humane farming??

The word humane means to show compassion towards some one or to use an organism causing minimal pain.

Humane farming refers to the practice of farming in which the care and needs of livestock are not neglected. They are raised outdoors in healthy environment, have access to basic amenities like fresh and clean water, food etc. and are able to express their natural behaviour.

Under humane farming, farm animals are protected from cruelty and abuse. Also, the public and environment is protected from the impacts of industrialized animal factories.
