what is is the identity property  of  divison and substraction ?if not why? please give example?

Subtraction and division are reverse operation of addition and multiplication. Generally, we do not talk of the identity property of subtraction and division.

But, 1 can be considered as the identity element of division and 0 as the identity element of subtraction.

Let  a be any number.

Now, a – 0 = a and a ÷ 1 = a.

15 – 0 = 15

15 ÷ 1 = 15
