what is meant by paradox , like wht is meant according to our society

Paradox is a situation or statement with two or more parts that seem strange or impossible together. It is a paradox in our society that  we have some of the richest people on the planet but yet also the highest number of malnourished children in the world.

Dear student,

Paradox is a statement in which a seeming contradiction may reveal an unexpected truth. It is a statement that is contrary to accepted opinion. It seems to contradict itself. But on closer look it is based on truth.

Instance of the same is: The more I gain speed, the farther I feel.
