What is mole concept. Plz give proper defination

Dear Student,
As atoms and molecules are very small to count and it was observed that one pure element contains a huge number of atoms. So for this mole concept was introduced, where the problem with this kind of numbers is solved. One mole is expressed as the amount of substance that posses 6.022 x 1023 units of that substance, like a century equals to 100 or a dozen is equal to 12. This is called Avogadro's number. For example, A mole of hydrogen atom means 6.022 x 1023 atoms of hydrogen or one mole of hydrogen molecule means 6.022 x 1023 molecules of hydrogen.
