Nervous system is a complex organ system of a human body. It contain cells that are specialised for conduction of information between different parts of the body and coordinates the activity of an individual. This system helps in generating any kind of response in our body and conducting impulse from one part of the body to another through nerve cells.
Nerve cells are basic structural and functional unit of nervous system. These are the longest cell of the body. They have Cell body also known as cyton, axon, dendrites and nerve endings.
