What is "NUCLEAR ENERGY" ?

The energy in the core of the atom is called nuclear energy. When large atom fission takes place , this energy is released which is called nuclear energy.
Ex: A fission reaction at nuclear power plant can provide enough energy to provide electricity to whole area.
