Overt is one type of behaviour in which there is transparency towards knowledge and information. For example, open education in which there is accessibility to information, training and learning.
Covert also known as secrecy in which there is a practise of hiding information from some individuals or group of individuals. For example, military keeps some secret from general public about weapons, tactics, system etc.
