What is Physiological uremia ?

Uremia is the condition wherein the kidneys start malfunctioning and leads to the accumulation of urea in the blood . This can be fatal for the patient . 
In such patients , Hemodialysis is performed , which draws blood from the appropriate artery and is pumped into a dialysing unit after adding a coagulant like heparin .
