What is precipitation

Hi,

When the water vapour rises, they start cooling. The water vapour condenses causing formation of droplets of water. When these droplets become too heavy to float in air , then they come down as precipitation in the form of snow, rain and sleet.

Hope it helps.

Cheers

@all:very good attempt.keep it up!

When enough water is condensed to form clouds, it falls down on the surface of the Earth in the form of rain, snow, hail, etc. This process is known as precipitation.

 Hi,

The part of the water cycle where water comes back down on earth is known as precipitation. This happens when too much water gets accumulated in the clouds and it becomes very heavy to stay in the sky. Then the water comes back bown on earth and the water cycle is continued. The precipitated water can be in many forms such as hail, snow and rainwater.

Hope this helps,

Cheers!!!
