what is present continuous tense!!!!!




Present continuous tense is the form of verb which is used to indicate something that is continuing or happening at the present moment. It is used to state something that is happening at the exact moment of the speech, though sometimes it may not be at the exact moment of the speech. Present continuous tense is formed from the present tense of the “be” verb and the present participle (-ing)  form of a verb.

Example: eating, sleeping, singing, studying, rising, smiling etc.
