what is process writing?

In process writing questions, you are given some directions in the questions and you are required to write the complete process in sentences.

For example:

Directions for making coffee-

Coffee mix- Kettle- Water- Milk- Sugar

-Put teaspoon of instant coffee mix in the kettle.Pour boiling water from above. Then add sugar and stir well.
