Flame contains three parts
- inner most zone (incomplete combustion)
- middle zone(partial combustion)
- outer most zone (complete combustion)

A flame has mainly three parts:
* The outermost zone (non-luminous zone): This is the hottest region and here complete combustion takes place because there is adequate air.
* The middle zone (luminous zone): Here, wax vapors do not burn completely as the supply of air is not enough for complete combustion. The unburnt carbon particles give a pale yellow colour to the flame. This zone is moderately hot.
* The innermost zone (dark zone): This zone contains unburnt wax vapors and is the least hot region of the flame. It surrounds the wick, and NO combustion takes place here as no air is available.

A flame consist of three zones. These are Innermost zone, middle zone, outer zone. The three zones of a flame have different colours and different temperature.
1) The Innermost zone of a flame is dark or black:It consist of hot, unburnt vapours of the combustible material. It is the least hot part of the flame. It is the coldest part of the flame.
2)The middle zone of a flame is yellow:It is bright and luminous. The fuel vapours burn partially in the middle zone because there is not enough air of burning in this zone. The partial burning of fuel in the middle zone produces carbon particles. These carbon particles then leave the flame as smoke and soot.It has moderate temperature.
3)The outer zone of a flame is blue:It is a non-luminous zone.In this zone, complete combustion of the fuel takes place because there is plenty of air around it.The outermost zone has the highest temperature in the flame. It is the hottest part of the flame. It is quite thin as compared to middle zone.
Goldsmith blow air with a blow-pipe to intensify a kerosene lamp flame for melting and moulding pieces of gold and silver into desired shapes to make jewellery. When air is blown through blow-pipe into the flame,it helps in the combustion of unburnt fuel and hence make the flame hotter.

There are three zones in flame, viz. outer zone, middle zone and inner zone.
Outer Zone: This zone is blue in colour. It is the hottest part of the flame, because complete combustion takes place in this zone.
Middle Zone: This zone is yellow and orange in colour. This zone is moderately hot because partial combustion takes place in this zone.
Inner Zone: This zone is dark in colour. This is the coolest part of the flame because no combustion takes place in this zone.- 0

- first is the innermost zone that is the coldest part of the flame it is the incomplette combustion and has unburnt particals and its wick in it that why after burning wickis black
- second is the middle zone is the mideum hot and it is partial combustion and has yellow flame because it does not have air to burn fully
- last is the outer most zone is the hotest part of the candle . it has complete combustion and has blue flame because it have lot of oxygen to regulate fire

- The outermost part of the flame is the hottest part and is blue in colour. Complete combustion takes place here.
- The middle part of the flame is moderately hot and is yellow in colour. Partial combustion takes place here.
- The innermost part of the flame is the least hot part and is black in colour. It contains unburnt wax vapours.
