what is the diff btw Bank Rate and Repo rate ?

bank rate refers to the rate at which the central bank gives short period loans to the commercial banks.

bank rate is also known as repo rate.

repo rate is the rate  at which commercial bank borrows from central period for short term( generally upto 7 days).
