What is the difference between acellular and unicellular ?

unicellular means made up of only one cell and acellular means there is not a complete cell only protein acts in living organism like,viruses,plasmids

Acellular Acellular means no cells

I don't think there is any difference between the two because I read somewhere that protista are acellular organisms. It means they r unicellular.
