what is the difference between globe & map?

globe is useful when we want to study the earth as a whole but when we want to study the part of the earth 

map is off help ful

Maps:

a map is a 2 dimensional reprasentation of the earth.

maps can be carried easily. 

maps are cheaper than a globe.

Globe:

a globe is a 3 dimensional representation of the earth.

globes are not easy to carry.

globes are expensive.

MAP: An abstract representation of the physical features of a portion of the Earth's surface graphically displayed on a planar surface. Maps display signs, symbols, and spatial relationships among the features.

OloBE: A true-to-scale map of the Earth that duplicates its round shape and correctly represents areas, relative size and shape of physical features, distances, and directions.

a globe is difrent from a map because a globe shows pacific place like ocean, and mountians. A map is diffrent because it shows pacifc places for a state.
