what is the difference between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixture? give one example of each mixture.

Homogeneous mixture is that which has the same composition throughout , i.e., its components are uniformly distributed and cannot be distinguished from each other. Ex., solution of salt or sugar in water.
Heterogeneous mixture is that which does not have the same composition throughout it as its components are not uniformly distributed and can be distinguished from each other. Ex., sand in water, pebbles in rice

EG:SUGAR DISSOLVED IN WATER . TEA.
