what is the difference between individual and discreet series???

pls ans ...fast it is urgent..

Individual series are those series in which the items are listened singely. For example:-
5 students got the following marks:
Marks
10
15
17
20
18

As you can see in above table it is not clear that how many students got 10 marks, how many got 15.

Discrete series are those series in which data are presented in manner that exact measurement of items are clearly shown. For example:
Wages           Frequency
10                           5
15                           7
20                          10

As you can see in the above table, there are wages given.
First wage i.e. 10, symbolize that 5 persons are having 10
7 persons are having 7
10 persons are having 20
