What is the difference between intussusception and apposition, with respect to plant cell wall growth?

The plant cell wall get extended due to formation of new molecules of cellulose and protopectin by introducing themselves into already formed cell wall.
Apposition is the growth of the layer of cell wall from the protoplasm inside of the cell.
