What is the difference between management of work and management of operations?

Dear Student,

Management of work : It includes all the problems to be solved, decisions to be made, plans to be established, budgets to be prepared, responsibilities to be assigned and authority to be delegated by the management to achieve organisational goals

Management of operations : It is concerned with managing the production process which uses the flow of input materials and technology to transform the input into desired output for consumption.
