what is the different beetween living and non living things

In short, this is what makes something Alive

 

1. Eat
2. Breathe
3. Grow

A nonliving thing can either be something that WAS once living or can just be an inanimate object. (ie: a pillow or a calculator.) Therefore, a nonliving thing is simply something that does not have animal or plant cells in it. It can also be a person, animal, or plant that has died after maybe living a full life or an uneventful one, that is extremely unimportant. Living things breathe, need food/water, and shelter. They also have animal (if they are an animal), human (if they are human), or plant (if they are plant) cells. It is as simple as that

living things are the things which have following characters  grow, move, response to stimuli, breath,reproduce,need food for energy whereas missing of any charcteristic from above mention then that thing is non living

living things for eg---- Human beings, Trees, Animals.

The things that cannot move, breath, reproduce, grow and feed are known as non - living things.
