what is the differernce between peduncle and prdicel

 Hi User,

The two term are slightly confusing. Peduncle is the stem like structure that support the inflorescence. On the other hand, pedicel is the stalk that attaches a flower to the peduncle or the stalk of the inflorescence. It can be easily make clear with this figure.

Hope this answers your question.

Cheers!!
