what is the importance of photosynthesis?

 Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants prepare their food and release oxygen as by product. If there is no photosynthesis, plants will not be able to survive. This will directly effect other organisms like herbivores and humans as they are directly or indirectly depend on plants. Secondly, the oxygen level in the atmosphere would be disturbed causing adverse effects on all organisms.

Photosynthesis is important because it produces oxygen which is necassary for the entire living world as well as food and it is never possible to live without these two.

photosynthesis is a processby which plants prepare their food by using water and co2 in presence of chlorophyll using sunlight as a source of energy. the process of photosynthesis can be represented by the following chemical reaction that takes place in green parts of plants;

 carbon dioxide+water  (sunlight upon chlorophyll ) C6 H12 O6 +6o2.
