What is the meaning of "comprehensive way "

A Frequency distribution is a comprehensive way which shows how different value of a variable is distributed in different classes along with their corresponding class frequencies.
Here comprehensive way means data can either be classified in ascending or in descending order. It is not easy or feasible to find the frequency of data from a very large dataset. So to make sense of the data Frequency distribution is required.
