What is the meaning of the line " the average kinetic energy of particles of gas are directly proportional to it's absolute temp. "
Does that mean different gases have different absolute temperature.?????

Dear Student,

Average kinetic energy depends only on the temperature of the system. It is directly proportional to the absolute temperature of the system because if we increase the temperature of the system, the average kinetic energy of all the molecules will increase by the same amount and so overall the total kinetic energy will come out to be same i.e. it will remain constant.
And the answer to your second question is in your first statement that is " the average kinetic energy of particles of a gas are directly proportional to it's absolute temperature. " That means every gas has its own absolute temperature.
