What is the process of replenishing nitrates in the soil by bacteria?

The process responsible for this conversion is NITRIFICATION. It is the converting process of ammonia(NH3) compounds into nitrates or nitrites. It is converted with the help of some natural biological bacteria namely Nitrosomonas ,Nitrobacter , Nitrococcus etc
