What is the reaction for oxidation of ferrous sulphate to ferric suphate by a strong oxidising agent?

Please refer to the reaction below. Here ferrous sulphate is oxidised by a strong oxidizing agent (such as hydrogen peroxide or nitric acid) and converted to ferric sulphate.
