What is the role of pituitary.gland during the onset of puberty

The pituitary gland produces hormones that control the growth ,water balance and also the relese of hormones during puberty.the pituitary gland produces hormones like the growth hormone(GH) that stimulates growth and developement in the body,the thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)that stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine,leutinizing hormone(LH)the stimulates the testes and ovaries to produce testosterone and oestrogen respectively and many more.
