What is unusual about laputa ?

 Laputa was a typical island floating in air.one more thing which makes laputa unsual is that people living there were little different as their head was tilted to either side , they have a typical type of face having one eye inward and the other one outwards making them look weard .they use to engross themselves in thoughts in such a way that their servants or flappers have to rouse them. All these features of laputians made them unsual! or different from others.
