what kind of relationship anne frank shared with other people of annxe ...........if it is of 10 marks in SA's

Mr van Daan was highly opinionated and considered to be a little uncouth and lacked the refinement of Otto Frank but was generally more tolerable than his obnoxious wife. He was a chain smoker, Anne found herself at loggerheads with him though they would be cordial to each other occasionally. He was a quarrelsome man thus resulting in frequent fights with his wife. He believed in being pushy to get ahead in life, a man of action who would not rest a moment if there was work to be done. On his good days, he was an amiable and cheerful, becoming a comforting presence in the household.

Mrs van Daan is a much derided character in the novel. She was an interfering busybody and a hypocrite who meddled in other peoples’ affairs and gave unsolicited advice on matters of upbringing when she neglectful of her own son. She portrayed herself as a tragic heroine who was misunderstood by everyone and demanded sympathy for her host of complaints.
She is described as being exceedingly pushy, egotistical, cunning, calculating and perpetually dissatisfied. On top of that she was extremely vain and coquettish. She would appear to be pleasant and friendly to strangers, especially men but become vindictive, selfish and insufferable with those who knew her. Mrs van Daan was quite difficult to get along with, indulging in noisy fights with her husband and unable to demarcate boundaries between the public and the private.

Dussel revealed his true nature as a petty man who was a tattletale, always being cranky and cantankerous, hoarding food and being generally selfish and sullen. Although he was reported to have been friendly with children, his behavior with Anne tells us otherwise.  He was quite lax with observing the rules of the house and it was evident that he was used to setting down his own rules. Dussel would occupy the toilet at odd hours or monopolize the study table, being unmindful of the needs of other people. When he was not engaged in his studies, Dussel would open his dental clinic in the annex.
Lack of displaying respect towards others, a high-handed manner, obnoxious behaviour and self-centeredness characterized Alfred Dussel making him into an unwelcome presence in the household.
