what makes you think that Amanda is moody

Amanda seems to be an introvert and doesn't want to share her feelings. Her mother's (speaker's) regular commands makes her think she is grabbed off her freedom. Her mother also orders her frequently making her dependent. Thus Amanda is sunken under the blanket of instructions and seems to be moody. She also imagines herself in different situations being independent.
