What methods could be applied to reduce our intake of pesticides which enter the food chain?

1 We can avoid intake of pesticides by consuming the food produced by organic farming.  Food produced through organic farming is grown without being treated with pesticides.

2 Peeling fruits and vegetables is a more effective method of removing pesticide .
