What point is equidistant from the points A(7,6) and B(-3,4) ?

Let P(X,Y) be the point.
Now P is equidistant from A and B.
So, P is mmmidpoint of AB.
So, by midpoint formula:-
X = 7+(-3) / 2  & Y = 6+4/2

X = 4/2 & Y= 10/2

X= 2 & Y=5
So point P(2,5) is the required point.

Let the point be P(x,y)

Using mid-point thm:

x = 7-3/2 & y = 6+4/2

x= 4/2  & y = 10/2

So, x = 2 & y = 5

Therefore,

P(x,y)= (2,5)

Thumbs up Plzzz....

 The point which is equidistant from A(7,6) and B(-3,4) is the mid point of line segment joining points A and B.

i.e., Req. point P is {7+(-3)/2 , 6+4/2}

                      => P is (2,5)
