What View of war, enmity and nationalism do you form from the story "The Enemy
Dear student,
In the story 'The Enemy' we come across a doctor who puts everything after his profession and gives priority to his duty as a life saviour. He is aware of the war and is afraid of being called an anti-national but he keeps all his thoughts aside while treating the prisoner. However, he does not forget his duty as a citizen and thus, takes steps to fulfil it too. Dr. Sadao teaches us a lesson that war, enmity and everything else should be kept below humanity.
Regards
