what was the ultimate desire of the ''emperor of blefusca''? what reply did gulliver give to the suggestions of the emperor?

It was the emperor of Lilliput, not Blefuscu. Please ask correct questions to get efficient and quick answer.

Lilliput's emperor was greedy and stubborn. He realized that Gulliver is very powerful and could be used as his tool to materialize his greed. He wanted Gulliver to invade Blefuscu, win it and bring the public as slaves. His sole wish was to annex the Kingdom and become the sole ruler of the entire world. This wish appears to be foolish to readers because they know that the world flourishes beyond Lilliput and Blefuscu. The readers condemn king's foolishness, and admire the sensibility of Gulliver. Gulliver denies to do as per the wishes of king, his belief is that everyone is born free and thus could not be reduced to serfdom only for selfish wishes. Though, it is a very respectable idea, but it was not applicable in the 18th century England. Swift is not responding to the King, but is instead highlighting the imperialistic attitudes of the then England.
