The main reason behind the success of Mongol forces under the leadership of genghiz khan was that:
- The army of Gengis Khan was the most powerful of the times.
- It was based on the decimal system which lead to grouping in the army as per the number like 10,100,1,000 etc.
- It was diverse socially that included Persians ,Turks ,Chinese and inter-ethnic grouping in army .
- Grouping was done to show higher level of obedience in the army.
- The soldiers were awarded on the basis of bravery on the battle fields instead of inheritance which was put to an end by Genghis Khan.
