What will be the effect caused if all the greenery on earth gets extinct ?

There is no greenery means there are no plants.
If there were no plants then there would have been no life possible as herbivores, carnivores and all the life that is either directly or indirectly dependent on plant would have become extinct. Oxygen would not have been available, soil erosion would have been rampant and the earth would have become almost lifeless.
