what will be the effect of change of origin and change of scale on standard deviation and mean ??

Mean is dependent on the change of origin and change of scale as If values in the sample (or population) are multiplied by k, the mean will be multiplied by k. 

Standard deviation is not independent of scale. If values in the sample (or population) are multiplied by k, the standard deviation will be multiplied by k. The value of standard deviation is unaffected by changes in origin.

i think there is no change in the scale as you choose the scale and the origin remains the same
