What will happen if delivery does not takes place in 9 months +- 7 days, How will doctor play an normal in case of delievery?

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Delivery after the 9 months is known as post-term pregnancy (only 2% births). The reasons for this are unclear. With this comes various risks (both to babies and mother) like- still births, macrosomia (baby is too big), post-maturity syndrome etc.
After the due date, placenta start working ineffectively and amniotic fluid surrounding the baby may lessen. Most of these babies are born normally without any complication.
Doctors monitor the baby at regular intervals through fetal monitoring and ultrasounds. In such cases, baby can be delivered through C-section or labour pains could be induced (if bearable).
