when steam is passed over red hot iron ,magnetic oxide of iron and hydrogen are obtained. "the reation between steam and red-hot is a Reversible reaction" . what is meant by this statement?

When steam is passed over red hot iron, it is converted into its magnetic oxide and hydrogen gas. Similarly, if hydrogen gas is passed over heated magnetic oxide, it will change back to iron and steam. Thus, the reaction can proceed in both directions. So it is a reversible reaction.

3Fe+4H2O=FE3O4+4H2O.the reaction is reversible means when triferric tetraoxide and hydrogen are formed it can be converted to iron and water again by chemical reactions!!!!
