When the sun has risen in arunachal pradesh,it is still dark in Gujarat.why?

The longitudinal dimension of Gujarat ranges roughly from 69° E to 74° E whereas the dimension of Arunachal Pradesh extends from 92°E to 97° E. These two states are roughly 18 longitudes apart. The sun takes about 4 minutes to cross a single  longitude, hence there is a difference between the timings of sunrise in the two states.

it is because the sun takes 2 minutes to pass a longitude. as arunachal pradesh is located on the eastern side the sun rises early. and as gujarat is in the west, there are 3o longitudes beyween ap and gujarat. thus the sun rises at 6 pm in ap and it takes time to cross the longitudes(1 hour) so it rises at 7 pm in gujarat.
