When we prepared purchase returns book why we less trade discount in the book.

While preparing Purchase Return book, the posting is with the amount actually need to be paid at the time of purchase. The amount will be reduced by trade discount because earlier we purchased at the price less trade discount and at the time of return also it has to be the same i.e. Actual price less trade discount.
