Where did they put the butter and what happened afterwards?

First, George ended up stepping on the butter, after removing it they kept it behind them where it got squashed by the vessels. Then they tried putting it in the kettle but after some time it would neither come out nor go in. It was finally scraped off by a knife, and kept on the chair. Later, Harris sat on it and they searched the whole house for it before finding it on Harris's bottom.
