Where in India do tropical evergreen and tropical deciduous forests occur?

Tropical evergreen forest are found in the western slope of the Western Ghats, hills of Northeastern states and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands.
Tropical Deciduous forests are of two types : Moist deciduous and Dry deciduous forests. Moist deciduous are found in foothills of the northeastern Himalayas, eastern slopes of Western Ghats and Odisha. Dry deciduous forests are found in rainy areas of the peninsular plateau, plains of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Tropical Evergreen forests of India are found in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Western Ghats, which fringe the Arabian Sea, the coastline of peninsular India, and the greater Assam region in the north-east. Small remnants of evergreen forest are found in Odisha state.
