Where the egg goes from uterus when it's not fertilised?

Dear student, When the egg is not fertilised by the ovum then it moves in the uterus from the fallopian tube and gets disintegrated in the uterus and it is shreded off from the body along with the thick lining of the uterus , which results in the blood and mucous discharge from the vagina, this lasts around 5 to 7 days.
